COMMUNITY PROGRAMS

Below are the community programs that Respond With Care is currently engaged in. We would like you to be a part!

Snack-Packs

What is a Snack-Pack? For our purposes, it's six meals that are composed of non perishable food, snacks, and drinks. Every Friday, during the school year, twenty or more of these Snack-Packs are taken to a local elementary school in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. There is enough food in these Snack-Packs to ensure three meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and a few snacks for the weekend.

The cost per Snack-Pack is approximately $6 per child per week. You can ensure that one child receives this assistance for an entire year by giving $30 a month or an annual gift of $360. Last year, the funds were not available to continue this assistance during the summer break. Our goal is to be able to provide this assistance year round to as many students that need it. For a dollar a day, you can help to end hunger in our community.

Not Forgotten

The first Sunday of every month, Respond With Care visits a local nursing home. During the visit, we sing songs, interact with these precious people and share the love of Christ with them. If you are looking for a great way to make an immediate impact in the life of a person, this is a great place to start.

7 Square Box

7 Squares is a once a month gift given by Respond With Care to those who are in need. It contains enough wholesome food to serve a family of four dinner for a week. The cost to put together a 7 Square Box is $50.00. You can ensure that families receive quality meals for less than the cost of four movie tickets, drinks, and popcorn.

Please Help Our Community

More in our community needs to be done. With the limited amount of resources and volunteers that we have, no other programs can be started and our current programs cannot be expanded. If you would like to volunteer your services or make a financial contribution that will help expand the footprint of care in the community, please go to the WANT TO HELP page.
